Dear colleagues, welcome to the 7IEIC.

The IEIC originated after two international meetings: the International Entomophagous Insects Workshop and the European Parasitoid Workshop. These events merged with the aim of strengthening collaboration from scientist working on insects that prey on or parasitize other insects. After USA (2009), France (2011), Canada (2013), Spain (2015), Japan (2017) and Italy (2019), now the IEIC arrives to Buenos Aires, Argentina!

The 7IEIC will give us the opportunity to witness the latest scientific findings and technical developments on a wide range of topics in a unique session with keynote speakers, oral and poster presentations. We will also enjoy interaction during coffee breaks and lunch.

The meeting is being organized by Instituto Nacional de Tencología Agropecuaria, INTA (National Institute of Agriculture), Centro de Estudios Parasitológicos y de Vectores, CEPAVE, CONICET-UNLP (Centre for Parasitological and Vector Studies),

Instituto Nacional de Tecnología Agropecuaria (INTA), CEPAVE Centro de Estudios Parasitológicos y de Vectores (CEPAVE) – UNLP/Conicet
Facultad de Ciencias Exactas y Naturales – Universidad de Buenos Aires (FCEyN – UBA), Facultad de Agronomía – Universidad de Buenos Aires (FAUBA – UBA).

Our goal is to gather in a face-to-face meeting, with all the safety measures required to ensure our health. However, if the situation regarding the COVID-19 pandemic does not evolve in the way we would like, we will moved to a virtual meeting, with no changes of dates.

Stay tuned for more news, and follow us on Facebook (Entomophagous Insects) and Instagram (@entomoph_insects2022).
